A cook once eat twice meal – ‘A what?’ I hear you asking. It’s not a new style of cooking and could be described by some as batch cooking, but this isn’t the case. It’s about cooking a bit extra a few days a week, as even one or two extra portions come in handy! Cook once eat twice doesn’t mean you have to eat the same thing over and over again though.
Its all about time management, especially for the days we all say, "I'm to tired to cook"!
Working with chef Chris and partnering with SFHS students, participants will prepare and share a meal. The class is ideal for individuals of all ages, as well as those with families.
This class will involve: Basic techniques and a simple recipe for an entire meal, with a demonstration on preparation and planning to make another meal to take home. (Cook once, eat twice).
All participants will be cooking in small groups of about 4-5.
Bring apron if you desire (not provided).
