Wisconsin artists are invited to participate in a week-long plein air (outdoor painting) event of Historic Plymouth beginning Thursday, Sept. 24 through Wednesday, Sept.30th with a public reception and silent auction on Friday, Oct. 2nd. Areas of interest are the Plymouth historical buildings, many of which have exquisite facades and showcase murals that are unique to Plymouth, area landscapes and other points of interest. The registration fee for the Paint Out is $40 per person for any or all of the days of the event. Molly Johnson, prestigious artist and owner of the Academy of Fine Art, in Denmark, WI will judge this plein air event. Cash awards total $2700. Pre-registration by September 15 is highly encouraged by visiting the PAC website or by contacting event coordinator, Kitty Lynne Klich. Artists may also register mornings of the event. All proceeds of this event benefit the Plymouth Arts Center, a charitable 501c3 non-profit organization.
