As the Audio and Visual set up person for The American Club, you will be responsible for:
Setting up a/v equipment in meeting rooms based on requests.
Adjusting to clients’ needs as they change.
Informing the Supervisor and Banquet Captains of any a/v changes for billing purposes.
Understanding functions and applications of various a/v equipment used.
Taping down power and phone cords to American Club standards.
Adjusting in room lighting and temperature in all meeting rooms
Replacing light bulbs in meeting room fixtures and a/v equipment.
Installing telephone equipment in meeting and guest rooms.
Removing a/v equipment from meeting rooms.
Ensuring a/v equipment is returned in proper working condition and placed in proper storage areas.
Developing technical knowledge of current equipment, as well as new arrivals.
Assisting the banquet and set up team, setting up tables and chairs for banquet functions.
High School Diploma
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of audio visual equipment is helpful
This is a casual position working up to an average of 29 hours per week. Hours for this position are flexible and will vary between 5:00 am-2:00 am weekdays and weekends.
