As the Cook for the Wisconsin Room, you will be responsible for:
Preparing all foods necessary for service to the demonstrated culinary standards.
Producing all quantities according to forecast on station production checklist and reduce food cost.
Preparing all foods according to Micros tickets, maintaining the established pace of service. Prepare all special needs in foods requested as part of our customer focus directives.
Ensuring quality in all that you do. Our food is a value added product, culinary techniques and service are the two ingredients that our customers are paying for above the food.
Driving continuous improvement through the sharing of ideas on better or different methodologies to enhance our production capacity.
Assist in monthly inventory taking if necessary.
Demonstrating teamwork within your work group and beyond, providing a service to our guests through other departments.
Working knowledge of culinary terms
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and able to execute recipes accurately in a timely manner
Able to work effectively with direct supervision
Able to work food preparation and salad stations in assigned kitchen
Have a high school diploma and or a reading, speaking and written fluency in English
Entry level position, no professional schooling is required
