As the Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for:
Welcoming guests, and greeting them with a sense of arrival to the Inn on Woodlake.
Blocking guest rooms, preparing guest folios, guest cards, and programming room keys.
Registering guests into the computer system, and providing them with hotel information.
Checking guests out of the computer when departing the hotel, and answering any questions they may have.
Applying the correct method of payment for guest charges.
Maintaining money on both cash drawer
Posting and recording hotel gift certificates
Informing other hotel departments of special requests
Providing accurate information regarding hotel facilities and functions
Paging hotel personnel as requested
Recording and conducting guest wakeup calls
Handling guest complaints
Informing other shifts of activities from the previous evening
The ability to work independently with professionalism while maintaining a focus on quality and customer service
Candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills
Candidate should be able to stand or walk the majority of each shift
A valid driver’s license is required
Additional skills sought include high attention to detail, solid oral and written communication and personal interactions skills, and the ability to work on and complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion.
This is a casual position, working up to an average of 29 hours per week. Looking for the availability to work two PM shifts 1:30-pm-9:00 pm, with flexibility for other days scheduled.
