As the Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for:
Installation of landscape features which may include: herbaceous plants, woody ornamentals, turf, irrigation, hardscapes, and holiday/seasonal decorations.
Maintenance of landscape properties according to established contracts which may include: watering, turf mowing, weeding, hard surface care, pruning, mulching, and IPM.
Maintenance and operation of equipment necessary to perform items 1 & 2 which may include: leaf blowers, hand tools, string trimmers, push and riding mowers, chain saws, skid steers, tractors, pickup trucks, and golf carts.
Actively participating in team concepts and established job performance standards for assigned tasks.
Assisting with snow removal responsibilities according to established contracts for the various Corporate and Hospitality businesses. Snow removal duties may include shoveling, application of ice melt material, snow plowing, the operation of snow blowers and power brushes.
Observing all written standard operating procedures to provide a safe working environment for self, other associates, guests and the general public.
Performing any other work as assigned by Landscape Management Team.
Associate degree in Horticulture or allied discipline or equivalent one year field experience preferred.
Possession of a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
Ability to take the initiative and think strategically
May be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
Wisconsin State Pesticide 3.0 Certification is required, or ability to acquire within 90 Days
