The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager. This position contributes to cultivating, demonstrating and emphasizing the culture of our company and of our resort’s mission and vision.
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for payroll administration, recruitment, employment processing, maintaining of records and files, conducting new associate orientations, benefit administration, 401k enrollment, responding to unemployment, DOL and employment verifications and assisting with associate relations, all while maintaining confidentiality. A minimum of two years’ prior work experience in human resources, or a combination of HR related education and HR work experience is required. Previous experience in the hospitality or service related industry is preferred. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and together works collaboratively to accomplish the goals of the department and of the overall organization.
Qualified candidates must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, have a well rounded background in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a positive, outgoing personality. Past experience with Payroll, HRIS platforms and recruitment are preferred.
