She served on the Council of the Milwaukee 7 Economic Development Group. Schneider formerly served on the Ozaukee County Economic Development Corporation Board and was on the UW-Whitewater Business College Dean's Advisory Board. She was one of the founders of Ozaukee County's Youth Apprenticeship initiative. She led the organization that was responsible for public transportation in Ozaukee County\, and she mentored Washington County's transportation organization.
