They are also looking for a few volunteers to help with the evening's event. \n\n\n\nExamples include: At-the-door sales\, food serving\, set-up\, & tear down. \n\n\n\nALL shifts are about 1.5 hours.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is Sheboygan SOUP?\n\n\n\nSheboygan SOUP is a new way for YOU to make cool things happen through the sharing and support of community-enhancing projects. SOUP is designed to be a safe and open atmosphere to hear from the creative minds in our neighborhoods. And get this: the people who pitch their project have the chance to win money to turn their idea into a reality! SOUP projects are voted on by the community AND funded by the community - all in an effort to make Sheboygan Someplace Better! \n\n\n\nSheboygan SOUP is a community-based\, crowdfunding dinner organized by volunteers who want to help the community feel empowered to improve the city. Sheboygan SOUP is not the granter of funds. Our job is to plan an event that creates a place for people to gather and share ideas in a safe environment. The community\, the participants in SOUP\, decide which project will receive the money raised.\n\n\n\nThe dinner consists of soup\, salad\, and bread which are provided through local donations. There Is a suggested $5 donation at the door\, and all proceeds from the dinner go to the community project selected at the dinner.
