DESCRIPTION:Meet Master Naturalists Janet & Andy Raddatz at the Friends Pond parking lot P9. Walk east on Old Park Rd. toward the closed gate and then back to the pond\, looking for birds along the way. The walk then continues along the Ancient Shores Trail. Walks may take 2-3 hours depending on what is seen. Participants can leave at any time. Wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather. Bring insect repellent\, sunscreen\, and binoculars. The walk is best for ages 12 and older\; children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets\, please.\n\n\n\nBird walks meet weekly.\nChildren must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nNo pets allowed.\n\nThe event is free\, but all vehicles need a state park admission sticker.\n\nFor information\, contact the park office. 920-451-4080
