SUMMARY:Lincoln Series\, Lincoln's Dreams\, Omens & Portents of Impending Death
DESCRIPTION:Part Three of the Lincoln Series\, The first hour is about Lincoln's dreams and Omens. The second hour is called\, Ghosts Abide: Lincoln's Ghost and Paranormal Events Associated with the Assassination. Some of the most famous stories associated with Abraham Lincoln are the ones that seem to indicate that Lincoln dreamed about his own death just days before it happened\; that he was forewarned in visions that he would meet a terrible and violent death\; that\, like Moses\, he would see the end of his great trial\, but not live to see its aftermath. Once dead\, occupants of the White House would state that they saw the spirit of Lincoln still stalking the halls of the White House\, still watching over the nation he loved. This lecture focuses on Lincoln's dreams\, his ghost\, and spirit sightings connected with his murder. Made possible by funding from The John and Hilda Holden Memorial Fund\, The Kohler Foundation\, Wisconsin Humanities Council.
