Event Description:
Join us as we learn about the State of Wisconsin Academic Career Planning Mandate. The Legislative Mandate and ACP Requirements requires the state superintendent to ensure that every school board is providing academic and career planning services to students enrolled in grades 6 to 12 beginning in the 2017-18 school year. This statute also requires the DPI to procure, install, and maintain information technology that districts can use to provide ACP services to students: provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to districts and school personnel related to implementing model academic and career plans and implementing the state selected information technology resources; and issue rules to implement the ACP mandate.

Our speakers for this informative session are: Nikki Kiss, executive director, INSPIRE Sheboygan County; Jason Duff, academic and career planning coordinator, Sheboygan Area School District and Tammy Graf, director of Workforce Development, Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce.
