Pine Haven Christian Communities, Sheboygan Falls Kiwanis Club, and local faith organizations are coming together on Thursday May 2nd to hold a community prayer event, in celebration of the National Day of Prayer. A National Day of Prayer proclamation for the City of Sheboygan Falls is planned by Mayor Randy Meyer. The National Day of Prayer event will take place starting at 11 am in the Community Center at Pine Haven’s Haven Drive campus. Leaders of local faith organizations will join together to lead participants in prayer and song. Lunch will also be served. This is the second year of this planned annual event. “Our community is rich in its heritage and faith,” said Pine Haven’s community outreach director, Karin Oliver-Kreft, “and we’re humbled to be able to play a part in bringing people together on this special day to honor God and pray for our nation and each other.” For more information, this event is listed under events on Sheboygan Falls Kiwanis’ Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/2018338715137782/
