DESCRIPTION:Explore Your Future Day 2\n\n(formerly Career Connections)\n\n \n\nThe Sheboygan County Chamber and the Business Education Partnership Committee are excited to announce that our long-running Career Connections event for high school students has been redesigned and renamed Explore Your Future. \n\n\n\nExplore Your Future\, which makes its debut on March 15 and 16\, 2018 at Lakeshore Technical College\, has been redesigned as an interactive workshop for Sheboygan County tenth graders. Workshop sessions will focus on soft skills\, social media best practices\, matching careers to personality types\, and exploring opportunities to build skills and gain experiences through work-based learning. \n\n\n\nDetails of the event are as follows:\n\n\n\nDATES AND TIMES:\n\nMorning Schedule (March 15 & 16\, 2018)\n\n9:05 to 9:15 - Students Arrive \n\n9:20 to 9:40 - How to Make a Great First Impression \n\n9:45 to 10:15 - What is Your Personality Type?\n\n10:20 to 10:50 - How Can You Gain Real-World Skills and Experiences?\n\n11:00 to 11:30 - Who Knows Social Media Best Practices?\n\n11:30 to 11:40 - Students Depart\n\n \n\nVolunteer Lunch (for those who are volunteering all day)\n\n11:30 to 12:00 Noon\n\n \n\nAfternoon Schedule: (March 15 only)\n\n11:55 to 12:05 - Students Arrive \n\n12:10 to 12:30 - How to Make a Great First Impression\n\n12:35 to 1:05 - What is Your Personality Type? \n\n1:10 to 1:40 - How Can You Gain Real-World Skills and Experiences?\n\n1:55 to 2:25 - Who Knows Social Media Best Practices?\n\n2:25 to 2:35 - Students Depart \n\n \n\nLOCATION:\n\nLakeshore Technical College\n\n\n\nATTENDEES:\n\n1\,600 Sheboygan County tenth grade students\n\n\n\nVOLUNTEER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThere will be two presenting volunteers and one floating volunteer per classroom of 25 students.
