SUMMARY:NON-PROFIT ROUNDTABLE
DESCRIPTION:Plan now to attend the next Non-Profit Roundtable. We meet on the first Wednesday of every even numbered month [FEB/APR/JUN/AUG/OCT/DEC] from 7:30 to 9:30 am. Location varies - sometimes we are at the Chamber\, but sometimes we meet at a nonprofit willing to host the roundtable. Stay tuned and please be patient. You will know where well in advance. \n\n\n\nDo you need a reason to attend? Here's why one places this event as a priority on her calendar:\n\n\n\n"A number of years ago as Sheboygan Chamber members I proposed to my Board that we drop our membership because no-one was going to the Business After Hours events and there seemed to be no advantage to our Non-Profit organization. Mark Miller\, a Board member at the time\, persuaded me to stay and assured me that the Chamber was listening and that they were going to do something for Non-Profits. And so the Roundtable was born. I have been an active member since the beginning and it is one event that not only takes preference on my calendar but I really look forward to it. The expertise and commitment of John Rogers\, the Facilitator\, has determined the growth and success of the group. He maintains the sense of purpose\, excellently directs discussion\, listens and truly cares about us as individuals and organizations. He has been the catalyst for further trainings\, resource sharing and networking. I really cannot speak highly enough about these opportunities. I have made significant relationships with other agencies that have led to excellent collaborations and I value the chance to learn from others. As a Manager who will retire in the next few years\, I have especially benefitted from the knowledge of the younger professionals balanced with the experience of those nearer my age. It is an excellent example of intergenerational collaboration." \n\nWendy Schmitz\, Supervisor\, Friends of Senior Activity Center of Sheboygan.\n\n\n\nPlease send an email to john@sheboygan.org or register here online.
