Sales BDC Platform Team Lead

Van Horn Automotive Group has an outstanding opportunity for a professional, self-motivated Business Development Center Platform Lead at our Business Development Center in Sheboygan. 
 

The Business Development Center Platform Lead is responsible for managing their corresponding team to handle the day-to-day operation of phone, internet, and chat leads that enter the Business Development Center (BDC) at agreed levels of performance. This position requires the ability to work multiple software applications and analyze reports while maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude. It requires someone who is comfortable with continuous improvement changes to meet changing buyer expectations, new technology and dealership integration.

 

The person in this role is highly organized, customer service minded and a skillful communicator. The Business Development Center Platform Lead is a leader, a coach and a student.  Someone who is motivated by continuous improvement; maintains an encouraging outlook, while maintaining unity and teamwork. This person should consistently exhibit ethical behavior, provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction and be honest in all aspects of customer interaction.

 

This is a hands-on position and the candidate will be responsible for performing all duties of the department, including: internet sales inquiries, inbound phone calls, and customer retention for both sales and service, as well as training and mentoring Level 1 and 2 agents on their respective Platform.

 

 

Expected Hours of Work: 

 

Business hours: 8 hour shifts Between 8am and 8pm

1 late shift per week

Every other Saturday

 

Travel

Travel to Van Horn Dealerships as required in all weather and road conditions

 

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associates degree or higher preferred

 

Experience

2+ years of Experience in customer service center operations

Superior knowledge of VinSolutions and customer account maintenance

Strong skills with phone system

Prior training or mentoring experience a plus.

Strong multi-tasker with organization and communication skills
 Customer service minded and analytical thinking skills

Proficient with Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
 Valid driver’s license
