Scarecrow Festival is Hosted at The Christopher Farm and Gardens with all proceeds going to Camp Y-Koda. This is a family-friendly event that includes activities and all are invited to attend and purchase tickets to the event. Hundreds of event-goers will partake in free activity offerings and can view the scarecrows throughout the 500-acre property. Activities include: train rides, fishing, rock painting and more. All guests will be parking at Kohler Generators and shuttled to the property to enjoy this safe outdoor event for our community to partake in.
We are looking for volunteers to work at the event and to help out with a variety of tasks during the festival. Tasks include, but not limited to: parking attendants, registration & ticketing tables, helping visitors vote for scarecrows, taking photos at the event, arts & crafts table attendants, assisting with fishing activity, event take down/clean-up and guest assistance.
Volunteers can work half days, single days, both days or full days. We kindly ask that all volunteers committ to a minimum of 4 hours for their desired shift however we can be quite flexible as long as we have advanced notice of the amount of time you can stay or sign up for.
- Must be age 14 & older (volunteers under age 14, must be accompanied by an adult)
- Willingness to work cooperatively with event staff and other volunteers
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
