Job Description
General Functions
The Early Childhood Camp Counselor, or ”Pee Wee Counselor" serves as a  leader, role model, and counselor for campers and participates in the planning and implementation of the Pee Wee Program. The Pee Wee Counselor will assist the Pee Wee Director with weekly planned activities and crafts for campers ages 4-5. 

Skills & Qualifications
Pee Wee Counselors must be 18 years of age or have graduated from High School. The counselor must have previous experience working with children in a day care, school or day camp setting. Experience or education in Early Childhood or Elementary Education is preferred. The position requires First Aid, CPR, AED and Lifeguard Certification. The counselor must possess Early Childhood experience, e excellent verbal and written communication skills, a cooperative attitude and the ability to work with and understand the needs of children. An appreciation of outdoor living, nature and camp setting are essential. 

Additional Information: 
Pay is salaried: $350 per week
This is a full time seasonal position, working primarily in the summer. YMCA Camp Y-Koda is a Licensed Wisconsin Day Camp, therefore camp does not provide room & board.
