Tree Service - Sales & Operations Manager

Parm's is seeking an experienced Sales & Operations Manager Arborist to join our growing team. Experience in tree removal is an absolute must.

This position requires you to have extensive experience with the use of chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Feeling comfortable 50-60' in the air in a lift is an absolute must. Those hired in this type of position must also have a positive attitude and the ability to lead others to complete each tree removal job safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Meeting with potential clients and bidding all Tree Service work electronically with company provided tablet
• Overseeing, managing, and/or participating in all Tree Service work done by Parm’s Tree Service, Inc.
• Managing all staff members working for Parm’s Tree Service, Inc. including telling them what time to start, overseeing their quality of work, and directly dealing with employee issues for the staff that works under you.
• Be involved in interviewing potential staff members, making hiring discussions, and participating in employee reviews
• If a bid is not left with the potential client, all bids will be completed and sent to the potential client within 48 hours of their appointment.
• While we will do our best to schedule appointments during daytime hours on weekdays, evening and weekend appointments will be required and expected at times.
• Keeping track of tree service inventory, making sure we have enough chains, bar oil, 2 cycle oil, etc. so we don’t run out while also ensuring we do not have too much in stock which leads to product waste.
• Maintenance of all Parm’s Tree Service, Inc. vehicles and equipment.
• Ensuring all accepted bids sent directly to you are turned to work orders within our system.
• Ensuring your “Weekly Report” is completed in full, accurate and turned into the office at the end of the day each and every Friday.
• Be personally involved in every single snow event including salting only events.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
