Set amidst the chaos of the London Blitz during World War II, Alice by Heart tells the poignant story of Alice Spencer, a teenager whose world is upended as she and her close friend Alfred seek refuge in an underground tube station. When Alfred falls ill and is quarantined, Alice invites him to escape into the pages of their favorite book, journeying together down the rabbit hole to Wonderland. This moving and imaginative musical explores the bittersweet beauty of first love, the struggles of coping with loss, and the courage needed to move forward, even in the darkest of times.

“We are so excited to bring Alice by Heart to life on stage, and we invite performers of all backgrounds and experience levels to audition,” said STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts. “This show offers a unique opportunity to explore themes of love, loss, and resilience, and we’re eager to see how our local talent brings these powerful characters and this beautiful story to life. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the stage, we encourage everyone to come audition and be part of this unforgettable production.”
