Holy Family Memorial outpatient clinics for in-person care, diagnostic screenings and tests, preventive health exams, and outpatient surgeries have returned to normal operating hours. HFM temporarily closed or reduced clinic hours in March after state officials issued stay-at-home orders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We want the community to know that the safety of our patients, visitors and staff is our top priority,” said Tom Veeser, Chief Nursing Officer. “HFM clinics and the hospital are safe places to receive medical care for everything from preventive health to walk-in care, appointments at our outpatient specialty clinics including heart care and cancer treatment, and emergency care.
HFM has implemented numerous safety measures, including temperature screening and universal masking for staff, patients and visitors, and enhancing its already rigorous medical cleaning protocols.
HFM is calling patients to reschedule previously postponed appointments, surgeries or procedures. Patients and visitors with scheduled appointments are asked to engage in personal safety precautions.
Veeser encourages people not to avoid or hold off healthcare appointments and trips to the hospital. He says delaying care can lead to serious health complications for patients over time.
Patients can contact their healthcare provider’s office to schedule an appointment. Individuals experiencing respiratory or COVID-19 related symptoms should call the HFM Infectious Disease hotline at (920) 320-3333 to schedule an appointment.
