HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital presents academic scholarships to colleagues each year, based upon need and merit. The funding for the scholarships comes from community support and is administered by the hospital’s philanthropic arm, the HSHS St. Nicholas Foundation. In 2019, the 11 recipients each received $1,000. The scholarships were presented to the colleagues with a special ceremony at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital.
“Not only are we grateful of these colleagues for their ambition and dedication to their education and their care of our patients, we are grateful for the community support and generosity that makes this program possible,” said Johannah Wenig, Director of HSHS St. Nicholas Foundation. “These colleagues represent care for our community and an exciting future ahead for HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital.”
