Prevea Welcomes Dr. Ryan Butcher

Sheboygan – Prevea Health is pleased to welcome Ryan Butcher, DO, as a hospitalist at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, 3100 Superior Ave. in Sheboygan.
Dr. Butcher is an internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. This includes coordinating hospital tests and treatment programs; consulting with sub-specialty providers; and caring for patients in intensive care. Hospitalists care for patients at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
"I believe the best care comes from empowering patients to take control of their health,” said Dr. Butcher. “My goal is to help guide patients to improve their health by keeping them informed of current evidence-based therapies – not only to treat existing disease, but also to prevent and reduce the risk of future disease."
Dr. Butcher graduated medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
