About our speakers
Nellie Weiss came to Sheboygan County in 2003 to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Resort Management at Lakeland University.  Shortly after arriving to Sheboygan County she knew this is where she would call home from now on.  After graduation Nellie worked at the American Club Resort, but found her self looking to do more in her community.  She started a job at UnitedOne Credit Union in 2010 and found her passion for helping and educating people with their finances.  Owning a business was never one of Nellie’s dreams or goals, but after bartending for 7 years the opportunity arose to purchase a small bar located in Howards Grove.  While navigating starting and purchasing a business Nellie found she really loved small businesses and wanted to do more.  Around the same time a position at UnitedOne became avalible as the Relationship Development Specialist.  After starting her own business, and transitioning into her new role Nellie’s passion for her business and other small businesses in our community grew.  During normal business hours Nellie can be found working with small businesses in Sheboygan and Manitowoc County.  On occasional nights and weekends Nellie can be found slinging drinks at Whoa Nellie’s in Howards Grove.  Nellie is a resident in Elkhart Lake with her boy friend Aaron and her two fur kitties Penelliepea and Tito.
