The college’s first cybersecurity program students will be among those graduating.
CLEVELAND, WI – The first graduates of Lakeshore Technical College’s information technology-cybersecurity specialist associate degree program are ready to graduate. The seven students will be among more than 325 students set to celebrate their educational achievements on Saturday, May 11, during the college’s spring graduation celebration taking place on the college’s Cleveland campus.
A majority of the almost 500 CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore Technical College, in collaboration with eight other colleges from the Wisconsin Technical College System, is a recipient of a $5.7 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. This award, part of the department’s Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants, will span four years and aims to enhance advanced manufacturing education across the state.

STC Brings the Rock Musical RENT to Life this May

SHEBOYGAN, WI--April 15, 2024--The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC), the local community theater, is closing out its 90th season with RENT, to be directed by Ryan Schabach, with Musical Director Zach Holden and Choreographer Amanda Hartlaub. The show opens May 10th at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre on the Horace Mann Middle School campus and features 17 cast members and The color decision for a commercial or industrial flat roof when a membrane is being installed is no longer “black and white.” The manufacturer that Precision Roofing Services works with, Duro-Last, recently introduced an array of color options. These can also be installed on larger residential no or low slope roofs. The color choices (top to bottom): light gray, light tan, blue, midnight bronze, patina, green, brown, colonial red, copper, and bright red.

CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore Technical College President Dr. Paul Carlsen has been elected to the American Association of Community Colleges board of directors. The AACC is a national advocacy organization representing more than 1,000 two-year community colleges across the country that serve nearly 12 million students. Board members are elected by CEO members of the association.

Studio Players Brings Stoppard's Existential Tragicomedy to The Taproom
SHEBOYGAN, WI--April 1, 2024--The Sheboygan Theater Company, the local community theater celebrating its 90th Season, announced today that its Studio Players group will present "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead," an absurdist, existential tragicomedy by Tom Stoppard, from April 25-28 at The Taproom adjacent to 8th CLEVELAND, WI – For the 15th consecutive year, Lakeshore Technical College was named a Military Friendly School by Viqtory, a national organization that connects the military community to educational and entrepreneurial opportunities and civilian employment.
Lakeshore has been recognized for this award and the Military Spouse Friendly School since Viqtory launched the efforts. The college was designated gold level several times.
Institutions earning the designations were evaluated using public data CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore Technical College was awarded $1.9 million in state grants from the Wisconsin Technical College System. The funds will support 18 newly approved projects.
Among the program-related projects are a fast-track police academy, a Foundations of Teacher Education associate degree, and competency-based educational design for an online business management program.
