CLEVELAND, WI – First-generation college students, those whose parents did not graduate from college, are invited to learn from other first-generation students at Lakeshore College’s “First Generation Event” set for Thursday, Nov. 7 at the college’s Cleveland campus.
A lunch buffet will be available 11 a.m. to noon. From noon to 1 p.m., a panel of current first-generation students will share their experiences and answer questions about navigating college.
Topics of discussion will include finding Did you know there are classes available for parents of young children led by skilled Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapists right here in Sheboygan? Progressive Beginnings offers; Infant and Toddler Aquatics, Social Skills, Bring Your Own Baby, Bitty Book Club, Food Explorers and Tummy Time Classes on a rotating basis.

The state-of-the-art self-contained training space is available to any organization interested in providing or demonstrating hands-on manufacturing-focused training. Lakeshore provides the instructors.
