Auditions for STC Production of Alice by Heart
STC invites the entire community to come out and audition for the show.
SHEBOYGAN, WI--November XX, 2024--The Sheboygan Theater Company (STC), the local community theater that has served Sheboygan County for 90 seasons, announced today the Company will hold in-person auditions for its upcoming production of Alice by Heart. The show will continue the Company’s 91st season and will be directed by Doug Clemons. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College President Dr. Paul Carlsen was among a select group of community college presidents invited to the “Classroom-to-Career Pathways Summit” held at the White House on Nov. 13. Carlsen joined top government officials, education leaders, and workforce experts from across the country to discuss strategies for aligning education with high-demand careers to better address workforce needs.

2nd Annual Sheboygan Midwest Challenge Generated $3.3 Million In Economic Impact
SHEBOYGAN, WI – October 21, 2024 – The 2nd Annual Sheboygan Midwest Challenge, produced by Powerboat P1, generated a powerful economic impact for the area. Over the 3.5 days, estimated attendance was over 21,000 (including the popular downtown block party), and total visitor spending was more than $3.3 Million. Visit Sheboygan provides these numbers based on surveys conducted with local lodging properties, crowd counts Did you know there are classes available for parents of young children led by skilled Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapists right here in Sheboygan? Progressive Beginnings offers; Infant and Toddler Aquatics, Social Skills, Bring Your Own Baby, Bitty Book Club, Food Explorers and Tummy Time Classes on a rotating basis.
These classes are led by one or more of their specialy trained therapists to give families a BOOST in the developmental process. We've all heard it takes a Village to Raise a Child, The state-of-the-art training on wheels is ready to hit the road.
CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College unveiled its new mobile manufacturing lab Oct. 1, making advanced manufacturing training more accessible throughout the community. The state-of-the-art self-contained training space is available to any organization interested in providing or demonstrating hands-on manufacturing-focused training. Lakeshore provides the instructors.
