The Chamber peer-to-peer roundtables are structured and emphasize the Chambers #BetterTogether philosophy. Key features include: STRUCTURE - In person or virtually, your facilitator will work to give all an opportunity to say their concerns for peer group discussion. You will have to wait your turn to talk. OPENERS and CLOSERS - one word that expresses how you feel; think ice-breakers and post-scripts. TOPICS - Primarily what is of concern to you so your peers can provide an idea or two, or more! Topics are ranked in 4 categories. We try to cover all topics, time permitting. Sometimes, we have a guest presenter. DISCUSSION with EMPATHY - Put yourself in their shoes with your thoughts often based upon your own prior experiences. This is a judgment free zone. Yes, questions can be asked. CONFIDENTIALITY - the topics we discuss are to stay within the roundtable. NOTES - The facilitator will take notes and then send a recap for you to have a few days after the roundtable. If the roundtable is virtual, sometimes the roundtable is recorded. CHAMBER BUZZ - Every Monday, The Buzz lists roundtables scheduled to occur within the next few weeks plus a link so you can register. EIGHT - Roundtable groups: Worksite Wellness, Strategic Sourcing, Nonprofit Executives, Safety Managers, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Business Owners and Manufacturers. REGISTER - Please! Either use your Chamber Master password [do you have one?] or send an email to email@example.com
