AGENDA - MANUFACTURING ROUNDTABLE - THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30 2025
MISSION STATEMENT - To improve Sheboygan County based manufacturers through sharing of best practices and continuous improvement strategies and tactics.
WHY - To continue the important dialog about programs that help you strengthen your businesses/organizations with a focus on: 1) Quality, 2) Improved Operations/Cost, productivity and training, 3) Safety, 4) On-time delivery/logistics & supply chain, 5) Employee morale & leadership development, 6) Science, technology, engineering & maintenance [modified STEM]
Today’s Manufacturing Roundtable is focused on this request: “Who has a ‘best in class’ technical training system for machine operators to share (I am not as concerned about skilled trades in this context)? In other words: easy to follow content; digital approach; on demand easy to retrieve information for reference & troubleshooting; qualified trainers/train the trainer programs, system integration, etc. In many cases, if not the majority in today’s environment, new people entering manufacturing have less mechanical core competency than historically. So, we need to train them effectively and efficiently. I would be interested to see and find out if there is some good information to “borrow” from others.”
