STEAMfest 2026 — Business Demonstration Invitation
Date & Time: October 13, 2026 • 9:00 AM – 1:45 PM (Demo setup begins at 8:00 AM)
Location: Wehr Center, Old Gymnasium, Lakeland University, Plymouth, WI
What is STEAMfest?
STEAMfest is an interactive, hands-on event that connects 4th and 5th grade students with real-world applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). Local schools bring over 1,500 4th and 5th grade students to experience engaging demonstrations in STEAM-related fields. The gym is transformed into a dynamic space filled with tables hosted by local businesses and organizations, each offering interactive STEAM demonstrations. Students are free to explore at their own pace—visiting any table that interests them, participating in hands-on activities, and then moving on to the next. To keep the experience engaging and the space manageable, we divide the day into three sessions of approximately 500 students each. The result is a high-energy atmosphere filled with curiosity, creativity, and meaningful interactions.
