Aviation history comes to life at the Aviation Heritage Center at Sheboygan County Airport on Monday, July 20 at 7pm as we welcome Francis Gary Powers Jr. Powers is the son of Francis Gary Powers, the US Air Force pilot shot down over the Soviet Union in 1960. The presentation explores the events surrounding his father's mission, captivity and the eventual prisoner exchange on the Glienicke Bridge, the historic event depicted in the film "Bridge of Spies."
