All Teachers, Administrators, and School Staff are invited to a FREE Workshop on “Firearm Basics & Safety” for National Train A Teacher Day on June 19 from 8-12:00 PM at Blackhawk Shooting Sports in Oostburg, WI. Classes will be taught by A Girl & A Gun- Sheboygan County Facilitator Starla Batzko and her A-Team of NRA Pistol Instructors and Dr. Jeff Duenk from Blackhawk. Workshop will be offered two times during the day:8-10:00 AM and 10-12:00 PM Firearm Basics & Safety Class will cover: Firearm Safety Handgun Basics Fundamentals of Handgun Shooting Grip Stance Sight Picture Trigger Pull Loading & Unloading a Firearm and Magazine How to Make a Firearm Safe What to Do if You Encounter a Firearm Dry Fire Practice Range Etiquette & Rules How to Pack a Wound How to Properly Apply a Tourniquet Optional-Live-Fire Practice All training, equipment, firearm rentals and ammunition are provided free of charge.
