When an adult child has a disability, parents and siblings may find themselves uncertain how to begin the conversation about longterm care and planning as a family. Join HearthStone of WI, Wisconsin Sibs Executive Director Harriet Redman and a panel of local siblings for “What Happens When … ?” to explore common questions, discuss tips for beginning the conversation and find information on local resources and options. This event is a great springboard for siblings, parents and individuals with a disability alike. It is free and takes place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, at the Rocca Room at Mead Public Library in Sheboygan. Refreshments will be provided. RSVP is requested; please call 920-316-2236 or email info@hearthstonewi.org. For more information about this event and others, please visit www.hearthstonewi.org. HearthStone of WI is a Sheboygan-based non-profit focused on creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
