Senator Devin LeMahieu was born Sheboygan, August 8, 1972; single. Graduate Sheboygan Co. Christian H.S. 1991; B.A. business administration and political science, Dordt College (Sioux Center, Iowa) 1995. Publisher/owner, Lakeshore Weekly. Member: Oostburg Kiwanis Club (fmr. pres.); Oostburg Chamber of Commerce; Sheboygan Co. Chamber of Commerce; Oostburg Civic Pride Com.; Bethel OPC (deacon); NRA (life mbr.). Sheboygan Co. Bd. Supervisor 2006-present, Human Resources Com. 2006-present (chm., 2010-14), Finance Com. 2012-present, Exec. Com. 2010-12. Elected to Senate 2014.
Senator Duey Stroebel was born in Cedarburg, and after graduating from Cedarburg High School, obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Duey and his wife Laura have eight children, ranging in ages from 6 to 21 years old. He enjoys coaching youth sports, running, hunting, participating in 4-H Leadership and assisting at First Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Cedarburg. In Madison, he quickly earned praise for ending the abuse of taxpayer dollars by leading the change to end "double-dipping" by government employees.
Representative Terry Katsma was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2014. He is proud to serve as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions, as Vice-Chair on the Committee on Ways and Means, and as a member of six additional committees and commissions. Terry was born and raised in Sheboygan County, graduating from Sheboygan County Christian High School in 1976. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Dordt College in Iowa and his M.B.A from Marquette University.
Representative Tyler Vorpagel was born and raised in Plymouth. He graduated from Plymouth High School and attended the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay where he received a Bachelor's Degrees in Public Administration and Political Science. Tyler has been happily married to his college sweetheart, Jenny, since 2009 and together they have one son, Landon, born in April 2016, and one family dog named Teddy. Tyler has served, most recently, as District Director for Congressman Tom Petri. Tyler is proud to have worked with numerous state, county, and community leaders across Wisconsin and throughout Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties to solve problems and make our state a great place to live and raise a family.
