Riverview will present Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr." as its annual musical Nov. 13 to 15. The show runs about an hour long and is very family friendly. It features students in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Performances will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14; with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 in the Riverview auditorium, 300 Riverside Circle, Plymouth. General admission tickets are $5 and are available in the school office and at the door. Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr." is a fast-paced stage adaptation of the timeless film, featuring updated dialogue and new arrangements of such classic Disney songs as "I'm Late," "The Un-birthday Song" and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah." Join Lewis Carroll's famous inquisitive heroine as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game. Students and parent Julie Van Norwick have worked on set pieces as well as costumes for the show, which will be directed by Rachel Tempe and Sarah Paff.
