The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 2021 ATHENA Leadership Award, celebrating exemplary leadership. The ATHENA Leadership Award fulfills ATHENA International's mission to support, develop and honor women leaders, inspire women to achieve their full potential and create balance in leadership worldwide.
 
The ATHENA Leadership Award honors individuals who:

• excel in their chosen field
• devote time and energy to their community in a meaningful way

Keynote Speakers


Jessica McCardell

Manager of Behavioral Health Programs for Advocate Aurora Health where she oversees adult and adolescent programming at the Aurora Behavioral Health Center in Sheboygan, WI. Jessica earned her Masters of Social Work from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with specialties in substance use disorders and trauma counseling. Jessica has been a guest speaker at the Lighthouse on Dewey Family Education Series which seeks to educate family members, patients, and communities on addressing substance use disorders. She is also a behavioral health consultant for Wumblekin, a monthly subscription box service that uses evidence-based education to support parents from pregnancy through their postpartum journey.

Away from the clinic, Jessica and her husband, Matt, enjoy traveling and not taking life too seriously with their two German Shepherds, Zelda and Bear. Jessica believes in the power of exercise and regularly participates in triathlons and other endurance sports.
