His commitment to the motorsports industry is unwavering, and with extensive experience and a deep understanding of the complexities of running a world-class racetrack which has been instrumental in Road America's success and significant growth.

Throughout his career, Mike has developed a unique blend of skills encompassing strategic planning, resource management, and enhancing the experience for participants and fans alike. His visionary leadership has not only solidified Road America's position as a premier motorsports destination but has also attracted renowned drivers and enthusiastic spectators from around the world. Mike's dedication to maintaining high standards and implementing industry best practices keeps Road America at the forefront of the racing community.

Under Mike's leadership, one of the proudest accomplishments was Road America's recognition as the 2023 Economic Driver of the Year by the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC). This prestigious award highlighted Road America's significant contributions to Sheboygan County's economy, with an impressive $254 million in local economic impact and $403 million statewide, a testament to the venue's importance under Mike's stewardship.

In addition to his responsibilities at Road America, Mike serves as Vice President of the Road Race Industry Council (RRIC), a role that allows him to shape the future of motorsports. His influence within the RRIC, where he continues to advocate for road racing safety, promote events, and ensure the preservation of important venues, is significant and contributes to the industry's continued growth.

Leading a dedicated team of 26 full-time staff members and 600 seasonal employees, Mike has overseen significant facility improvements, including the modernization of the venue through major capital projects and the complete track repaving after 27 years. His leadership also brought the NASCAR Cup Series back to Road America in 2021 and 2022, further solidifying the track's reputation as a must-visit location in motorsports.
