Name: Keeping Remote Workers Mentally Fit
Date: October 8, 2020
Time: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM CDT
Event Description:
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world—causing lockdowns, anxiety, and deaths. It also has changed the nature of work such that 46% of organizations have implemented work-from-home policies. Although this move has enhanced flexibility, many remote employees have lost the human connections with friends and colleagues while feeling distressed during this global crisis. Therefore, we need to find ways to “flatten the emotional distress curve,” keeping ourselves and remote employees mentally fit, in order to promote work engagement and productivity. As a result of this interactive session, you will be able to:
  • Understand and apply sport and performance psychology principles
  • Practice mindfulness, self-compassion, and gratitude in work settings
  • Take away free resources and tools to enhance remote employees’ and your own mental fitness and productivity
