Kohler-Andrae State Park: Walking Stick Creation

Ready to hit the trail this summer? Ready to make your own walking stick? Learn how walking sticks, staffs, and canes were used in the past, then select and personalize a walking stick. We’ll provide sticks, colors, wood burning and shaping tools, beads, and other decorative materials. Great for all ages. Bring a knife for carving if you like. Kids under 12, be sure to bring an adult. 

Meet at the Indoor Shelter, above parking lot 7. 

The event is free, but all vehicles need a state park admission sticker.
