Dr. Warren Porter, of University of Wisconsin-Madison, Departments of Integrative Biology and Environmental Toxicology, has received numerous awards for his studies on pesticide use and their health impacts and is visiting Sheboygan as the guest presenter in the last of a series of programs hosted by Friends of North Point. He will speak about how low-level contaminant, pesticide mixtures affect and alter developmental processes and neurological, immune, and endocrine function in animals. This program series is free and open to the public with support from the Sheboygan River Basin Partnership, League of Women Voters of Sheboygan County, and Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership.
