This isn’t just a workshop – it’s your pathway to earning a Board Member Certificate of Completion, equipping you to contribute meaningfully and confidently to any board.

This 6-session boot camp runs from October through November on every Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, with the following dates:

• Session 1 (October 3rd): Introduction to Board Service
• Session 2 (October 10th): Governance and Strategic Oversight
• Session 3 (October 17th): Financial Responsibilities
• Session 4 (October 24th): Building Relationships and Advocacy
• Session 5 (November 7th): Fundraising
• Session 6 (October 31st): Effective Board Meetings

The cost is $150 for all sessions, and we encourage employers to cover this investment to support the professional growth of their young professionals. Breakfast will be provided at each session to ensure an enjoyable and engaging experience.

You’ll learn directly from Executive Directors and seasoned board members, gaining insider knowledge on what it takes to lead effectively and what boards are looking for in their members.
