Students pursuing careers in welding or heating, ventilation and air conditioning will benefit.
CLEVELAND, WI – The Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 400 union donated $25,000 to the Lakeshore College Foundation to establish a scholarship fund that will provide financial assistance to students interested in training for careers in welding or heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
“We appreciate the ongoing commitment the Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 400 union has to workforce development. This CLEVELAND, WI – Two Lakeshore College students placed first in competitions at the spring 2025 SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills state conference held in Madison. Qualifying for advancement to the national SkillsUSA Championships taking place in Atlanta June 23-27 are Autumn Robley and Johnathon DeBruin.
Robley, who completed her degree in precision machining technology this semester and is continuing her education in Lakeshore’s CNC automation technician program, triumphed in the Precision Machining
