Sheboygan, WI (August 27, 2024) —The inaugural Oktoberfest Great Lakes celebration will be held Friday, October 4^th through Sunday, October 6^th in Sheboygan, WI. Continuing the tradition of previous Oktoberfest events, Oktoberfest Great Lakes celebrates our local 3 Sheeps Brewing Company, Esslingen Fest honoring our relationship with Esslingen, Germany, as well as our local businesses.

Friday, October 4th | 7pm-10pm
The Oktoberfest Kick-Off Event will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Blue Harbor Resort featuring live polka music by the Sugar Bush Boys Band, a limited supply of 3 Sheeps Oktoberfest beer on tap, plus a full cash bar and concessions. Guests are encouraged to dress up in traditional Oktoberfest attire because one lucky attendee will win an overnight stay in the Best Dressed contest. A button is required for admission to this event and will be available in advance on Eventbrite for $10 each.

Saturday, October 5th | 11am - 6pm
Esslingen Fest at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company honors Sheboygan’s relationship with its sister city Esslingen, Germany. There will be a brat fry, craft beer, raffles, live music by the Ryan Kautzer band, and admission is free! Patrons will want to plan for a full day of activities at 3 Sheeps after Esslingen Fest including the Mayor tapping the first keg and a stein-holding contest, with a broader selection of German beers available for purchase. Blue Harbor Resort will be running a shuttle non-stop throughout the day so guests of the resort can celebrate safely.

Saturday, October 5^th & Sunday, October 6th | 7am - 11am
A breakfast buffet will be held Saturday and Sunday at The Beacon Restaurant featuring seasonal chef's choice entrée, scrambled eggs with Wisconsin cheddar cheese, pancakes, French toast or waffles, seasoned potato wedges, bacon or sausage, and assorted cereal, yogurt and granola, cottage cheese, whole fruit, and assorted fruit Danish and breakfast sweet breads, plus, Bloody Marys for $10 each (beverages not included). Pricing for adults is $16, children 14 and under pay $8, and children under 3 eat free. Reservations can be made in advance by calling 920-457-9810.

Oktoberfest Resort Packages
To enjoy a full weekend of Oktoberfest fun, overnight packages are available at Blue Harbor Resort. Guests will enjoy overnight accommodations, plus each registered adult will receive a button for admission to the Kick-Off Party, commemorative stein and can koozie, pretzels, and a can of 3 Sheeps beer, plus complimentary shuttle service to 3 Sheeps on Saturday and $1 off beer and seltzer purchases at the Kick-Off Party with stein. The package offers an additional $50 value with room.

Oktoberfest Tickets
Tickets for the Oktoberfest Kick-Off Event at Blue Harbor Resort are available for purchase on Eventbrite for $10. The first 50 tickets sold will also receive a complimentary commemorative Oktoberfest Great Lakes stein including $1 off 3 Sheeps Beer, canned beer, and seltzers at the kick-off party. Eventbrite tickets will be exchanged for a button at the door. There will be a limited number of tickets available for this event, while supplies last. If available, buttons will be sold at the door for $15 each. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend.
