Chamber Hosts Film Festival Information Event

Local businesses learn more about getting involved in the inaugural event.

SHEBOYGAN, WI — July 10, 2025 — Organizers of this fall’s first annual Sheboygan Film Festival will hold an information meeting for area businesses that want to get involved in the event on July 18, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the offices of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce, 621 North 8th Street in Sheboygan. This is the second meeting the group has offered to area businesses. It was scheduled after the success of the first meeting.

Sheboygan Film Festival (SFF) is a new annual event dedicated to sharing the joys of film and furthering Sheboygan's position as a creative hub in the Midwest. SFF is excited to offer a number of ways to highlight local businesses at the festival through venue partnerships, guest services, and sponsorship opportunities.

“We have been pleased with the support area businesses have offered the event,” said Beah Travis, Chair of the Committee, and Executive Director of Belladonna Film Project, the non-profit organization behind the event. “This tells us that they know the film festival will be bringing people to Sheboygan and they want the opportunity to interact with them and win new business when they do.”

A wide range of sponsorship opportunities are available to area businesses, ranging from affordable “Real Good Neighbor” sponsorships that give businesses a window decal and program listing, all the way up to a single Platinum Sponsorship who will serve as the presenting sponsor, receiving a long list of benefits and joint marketing opportunities.

Several downtown venues have already signed on to be part of the event, including The Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, and Paradigm Coffee Shop. The committee is in discussions with additional venues. The festival has already benefited from a grant from The Kohler Foundation and a generous sponsorship from Bemis Manufacturing.

Attendees of the upcoming information session will learn how the festival has been structured, what will happen during the event, and how they can get involved. Some refreshments will also be provided.

For more information about the upcoming event, including sponsorship opportunities, submission requirements, or volunteer opportunities, visit the Sheboygan Film Festival website at www.sheboyganfilmfest.com. The Festival can be found on social media networks, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
