Sheboygan, WI — December 16, 2024 — Sheboygan Area Credit Union’s board of directors is pleased to announce the promotion of Lois Pluff to President & CEO, effective as of December 9, 2024. She succeeded Robert Walleser, who retires after nine years.Sheboygan Area Credit Union Names New President/CEO
Pluff joined Sheboygan Area in 2019 as Vice President of Lending and Operations. Her career in the financial industry spans over 26 years, showcasing her leadership and expertise in mortgage and consumer lending, risk management, product development, operations, and regulatory compliance. Most recently, Pluff served as Executive Vice President.

Her leadership skills have been instrumental in our growth and expanding our product offerings. I am confident that the credit union will continue to grow and prosper with her as our new CEO,” former President/CEO Walleser states.
Prior to Sheboygan Area, Pluff held a position at the Wisconsin Credit Union League. She also held previous management roles in compliance, risk management, and loan underwriting. Pluff graduated from America’s Credit Unions’ Management School in 2023, earning the designation of Certified Credit Union Executive. Pluff also holds the designations of Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist, and Credit Union Compliance Expert.
As we welcome Pluff to her new role, we also want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Robert Walleser. He has been instrumental in guiding Sheboygan Area to its current success and wish him the best in his retirement.
