Payroll Specialist

PLYMOUTH, WI (On-Site) 

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and ensure the accurate processing of employee payroll for our organization. You'll be responsible for processing payroll for 800+ hourly production employees, and monitoring time and attendance. Additional responsibilities include assisting with various duties and projects as assigned by the Compensation & Benefits Manager, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Communications, Chief Financial Officer, or other production managers.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Process hourly production payroll for 800+ hourly production employees using UKG Pro and Workforce Ready.
  • Maintain and track all time and attendance for the hourly production workforce using UKG Pro and Workforce Ready.
  • Complete unemployment verifications for all hourly production employees.
  • Complete and process HR Action Forms for all production employment transactions.
  • Administer production vacation accrual system using UKG Pro and Workforce Ready.
  • Coordinate and maintain company rate tables, accrual tables, and holiday schedules using UKG Pro and Workforce Ready.
  • Responsible for calculating and processing all year-end bonus programs for production payrolls including related communications.
  • Responsible for completing surveys related to hourly production compensation and industrial/production trades.
  • Perform other duties and projects as requested by the Compensation & Benefits Manager, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Communications, Chief Financial Officer, or other production managers.

What You Can Offer:

  • Associate Degree in a general administrative area, Accounting, or equivalent payroll experience.
  • Three to five years of comparable payroll processing and time and attendance monitoring. Knowledge of the UKG Pro and Workforce Ready system is highly preferred.
  • Requires a high level of confidentiality.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills to frequently assist employees and management.
  • Must have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and accuracy.
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills.
  • Knowledge of UKG Pro and Workforce Ready, personal computer, Microsoft Outlook, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
