We are World Metal Stamping! Currently we have 25 to 400 ton press capabilities and can produce parts via stamping, fabrication, powder coat, and resistance welding within markets including home improvement, automotive, residential, and recreational industries.

HTT has an opening at Sheboygan, WI location for a Material Specialist.
What does a day in the life of a Material Specialist look like?

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform ERP transactions to the highest caliber in order to maintain 100% accurate inventory and/or shipment reliability – examples of these transactions could include: stock moves, job material issue/unissued, material returns, picking/packing shipments, or receiving in dunnage;  
  • Must be fluent and comfortable using ERP system for all transactions – every move requires a scan;
  • Investigates and troubleshoots any inventory issues/problems;
  • Insure raw material/product is delivered to internal/external customers in a timely manner;
  • Moves materials/parts within the plant, yard or worksite as needed by production departments or manager;
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude with all customers both internal and external;
  • Within stamping areas, use up-ender for safe and efficient raw material deliveries to presses;
  • Communicate to and work closely with other team members within department and outside;
  • Packages items in accordance with various shipping requirements as needed;
  • This role is also integral to physical inventories and must be available to work during both scheduled physical inventories;
  • Perform to the requirements detailed in the applicable ISO/TS procedures.
  • Works within the Safety Rules and Guidelines set forth by HTT Management;
  • Comply with company handbooks and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Experience/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • At least 2 years of certified forklift driving experience within manufacturing setting required;
  • Previous computer experience required;
  • ERP experience within forklift setting and handheld scanning preferred;
  • Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment;
  • Attention to detail is imperative;
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
 
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently;
  • Have the ability to work 10+ hour shift standing, sitting, bending and reaching throughout the duration of your shift;
  • Able to feel, grasp and touch parts to perform quality checks regularly;
  • Consistently works in a noisy and hot environment;
  • Have attention to detail and depth perception to perform quality checks frequently.

Desired Shift:
  • 1st Shift; 5am to 3pm (Monday through Thursday)
  • 2st Shift; 3pm to 1am (Monday through Thursday)
