Responsibilities:
? Greet and guide each customer through Red Wing Shoe's Ultimate Fit experience.
? Provide support to the manager
? Provide appropriate accessory recommendations and educate customers on the benefits of appropriate footwear.
? Generate Industrial Sales Leads.
? Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
? Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards
? Maintain proficiency with product knowledge and operating standards through continuous training
? Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations
? Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store. This includes opening and closing the store and cashier ability to make change and apply basic math skills
? Processes cash and credit card transactions at the register
? Assist customers with sales and returns/exchanges following company policies
? Critical thinking and ability to handle problem solving and make decisions
? Inventory Management. Maintaining accurate counts, Managing incoming inventory (open orders), Yearly Inventory planning and preparation, Complete monthly or as needed Return Merchandise Memos for defective product/returns. Maintain runs of shoes in order appropriate to size
? Team Supervision: Making sure employees are up to date on all training. Making sure employees are adhering to the stores policies and procedures. Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the store
? 36-40 Hours per week (includes some weekends with overtime as needed)
? Excellent store hours Monday-Thursday 9:30am-7:00pm, Fridays 9:30am-6:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am-5:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm-4pm
? Fair Compensation based on Experience
Experience:
? College degree, or High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent work experience
? 1-2 years relevant retail experience
? Results Oriented
? Effective written/verbal communication
? Computer Utilization skills
? Is proficient with Microsoft Services
? Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
? Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy store appearance
? Basic math skills for processing transactions
? Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
? Ability to upsell products to enhance the customer shopping experience
? Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
