About Us

Plymouth Intergenerational Coalition is a non-profit organization that built Generations, our Intergenerational Community Center facility.
Our Intergenerational Model is unique to our area. Research shows that intergenerational programming benefits all generations involved. Younger generations benefit by improving verbal skills, critical thinking, and tolerance. They also experience a boost to academics, staying away from troublesome behaviors, and overall having a better outlook for life. Likewise, older generations experience a reduction in feelings of loneliness or isolation and enjoy learning new perspectives on the world we all share. Generations means different things to different people, but above all else, it is a place for people to gather and be seen. All are welcome.
