CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College has been granted Provisional Accreditation by the American Welding Society (AWS) under the AWS QC47:2016-AMD2 Specification for AWS Certification of Welders and Accreditation of Test Facilities.
The accreditation recognizes Lakeshore College’s commitment to maintaining high standards in welder performance qualification testing and certification. Under this designation, the college is authorized to conduct welder performance qualification testing using approved welding CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College is proud to announce that paralegal student Kendra Klein has been named a recipient of the 2025-26 Student Scholarship from the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin (PAW).
The competitive scholarship recognizes scholastic excellence, leadership, active participation in campus and paralegal program activities, community service, and the submission of a strong writing sample. Demonstrated financial need may also be considered as part of the selection process.
Klein has CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College has been awarded $24,994 through the State of Wisconsin’s Commercial Driver Training Grant program to provide Class A and B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) theory and behind-the-wheel training for 12 individuals at half the cost. This funding will support workforce development by expanding access to high-quality CDL training in the Lakeshore district and helping more residents move into in-demand transportation careers. The grant funding is part of a $250,000 investment CLEVELAND, WI – The Lakeshore College Foundation awarded 248 scholarships totaling $337,066 to Lakeshore College spring semester students. These funds, combined with awards given during fall, pushes the total amount for the 2025-26 academic year to $704,918 with 64.75% of the scholarships being full tuition for the year. This is an increase of $127,918 in funds raised from the previous year.
