This captivating memoir offers a rich collection of personal stories and reflections from his career in the theater, providing a candid look at the triumphs and challenges that define the theatrical journey. “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Zac back to STC for this special event,” said STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts. “Zac has brought incredible creativity and passion to our stage as a director for Into the Woods and Mary Poppins, and now we’re excited to showcase his talents in a whole new way. This evening of comedy, music, and storytelling—paired with the celebration of his new book—promises to be an unforgettable experience for our community.” Stearn will take the stage for a unique performance that blends stand-up comedy, musical numbers, and an exclusive book signing. The show, lasting approximately 75 minutes, offers a chance to experience Stearn’s incredible talent firsthand. Tickets are available now for just $15, $35 with a copy of his book. If you already own a copy, Stearn will sign it for free. With humor and insight, he’ll share valuable lessons learned and memorable anecdotes that will resonate with anyone on their own theatrical journey. His distinct voice and wit shine through, making this book not only a must-read for theater enthusiasts but also for those who simply appreciate the art form. "I'm thrilled to bring '5 to Places': Memoirs of a Theatre Kid to my first Wisconsin stop on this book tour,” Stearn said. “The book itself is a collection of stories from my life lived in the theatre and as I enter into this new chapter of my theatrical journey, I am excited to share how my experiences have shaped my perspective as an artist and a person. The live show is new and has been developed as a companion piece and I can't wait to perform at STC in March. I have stories, songs, and some surprises in store...including another major announcement.” Tickets are available now online at https://our.show/5toplaces. Tickets that include a book are limited.
